Bill became the director of research at Oak Family Advisors, LLC, in the fall of 2019.
Over the last 25 years, Bill has worked in increasingly strategic roles within the investment community of Chicago following the start of his career in New York. Formerly, he served as the Director of Research at Zuckerman Investment Group after working for nine years at RMB Capital Management where he was the lead portfolio manager of the firm’s three proprietary equity strategies with over $1 billion in assets under management.
In New York, Bill worked as an analyst covering the technology sector for Evergreen Investments and as a research associate at Alex Brown, the oldest investment bank in the United States at the time. Most recently, he was CEO of Prudence Island Wealth Management, before merging it into Oak Family.
Bill graduated from Colby College in Waterville, ME with a BA in Biology with a concentration in Environmental Science. In 2003 he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. In order to further his ability to holistically serve his clients, he added the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2019.
Bill resides in Chicago, IL and the proud father of three amazing children. He is passionate about ice hockey and continues to play on a regular basis.
